6th Grade Enrollment Information for the 2020-2021 School Year 

Enrollment into either of the two middle schools in CVUSD is not determined by attendance boundaries. Current 5th grade students who reside within the district boundaries may apply to a preferred Middle School February 29 - March 13, 2020. Important enrollment dates are listed below for students entering the 6th grade. 

6th Grade Parent Information Night Parents/guardians are welcome to attend either or both middle school presentations below:

February 12, 2020 at 7:00pm – Canyon (self guided tour begins at 6:30pm)

February 13, 2020 at 7:00pm – Creekside (self guided tour begins at 6:30pm)

February 28, 2020    Deadline for 6th Grade Sibling enrollment Application 5th grade siblings of current 6th and 7th grade middle school students are guaranteed enrollment at their sibling’s school for the 2020-2021 school year if a 6th Grade Sibling Enrollment Application is received on or before 3:30pm on Friday, February 28, 2020. A Statement of Residency Form and all of the required residency documentation must be submitted with the form. 

February 29– March 13, 2020 non-Sibling Enrollment of Current 5th Grade Students  Submit the 6th Grade Enrollment Application, along with a Statement of Residency Form and all of the required residency documentation to the middle school of your choice by 3:30pm on Friday, March 13, 2020. 

If either middle school exceeds their enrollment cap, placement will be determined by lottery. If needed, the lottery will take place on Monday, March 16, at 4:30pm in the CVUSD Board Room.
