Welcome to Creekside Middle School
Cultivating academic excellence, equity, and responsibility.
The moment you step onto our campus, it is clear that student learning is our number one priority. Throughout the day students are involved in project-based learning, establishing lifelong health and fitness habits, learning to be good citizens, and developing a well-rounded, strong academic foundation. Every day our students are challenged with rigorous academic programs and high expectations. Our school community provides support for each student to be successful. Learning for our students is a sharing, laughing, risking, and questioning experience. We all believe each child should be prepared with skills, knowledge, and confidence for the demands of the 21st century.
News and Updates
Congratulations to Lauren Baiocchi, our outstanding Eighth Grade Science Teacher, for being honored as our California League of Middle School's Teacher of the Year Nominee. Ms. Baiocchi received her award on December 5th with many of her Middle school Colleagues cheering her on. Much appreciation goes to the PTC for supporting teacher attendance at the dinner with their financial contribution.
Many students might be coming home describing a schedule change for something called Tutorial. We are working on implementing our Response to Intervention Model, and more information regarding this important program can be found at this link: RTI
Assistant Principal Pam Wolf, and Principal Walt Lewis will be presenting on this model at the next PTC Meeting on January 14, 2014 in the Creekside Middle school Library at 7PM.
