Coronavirus Update March 13, 2020 Update @ 12:45 p.m.
Dear CVUSD Families:

As concerns about coronavirus have risen, my leadership team and I have been working closely with the Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD), the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE), and the surrounding district superintendents and considering all information and nuances related to this crisis.

We will be holding an emergency board meeting tonight to consider suspending in-classroom instruction that could begin as early as next week. We will update you as soon as possible. The decision for the board meeting is not due to a coronavirus case in our District.

This crisis is affecting all members of the community, including our employees. We are working together to ensure our students are supported during this time. Thank you for your patience. More detailed information will be available this evening.

Regards,
Superintendent Ahmadi
