8th Grade Promotion 2019

8th Grade Promotion will be held on Wednesday, June 5th.
4:00-5:15 PM on the Blacktop area in front of the Gymnasium.
Students must report to the Multi-Purpose Room NO LATER than 3:30 PM!
Student attire for Promotion should be appropriate for a special ceremony, but not formal.
Seating is limited. To ensure that there is enough seating for family members, we ask
that you only bring 4 guests. Parking will be limited. Please remember to show consideration
to our neighbors when parking and be sure you don’t block driveways. Remember that it may
be hot on the blacktop, so plan accordingly. Wear hats, bring water, and consider seating
elderly relatives in the shade.

Press Release: CVUSD Appoints Nicholas McMaster as Director of Student Services

Castro Valley, CA – (April 19, 2019) – At tonight’s special board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) Board of Education unanimously appointed Mr. Nicholas McMaster to the position of Director of Student Services. He will be replacing Mr. Jim Kentris who is retiring effective June 30, 2019.
