AP (Assistant Principal’s) Award

In order to promote effort, behavior, and citizenship that exemplifies our ROAR expectations (Respect, Ownership, Acceptance, Responsibility), the Assistant Principal’s Award is given out each Monday on Video Journalism.  We recognize a student who has exhibited these traits or who has shown a vast improvement in his/her behavior for an extended period of time.  This can be someone that a teacher or staff member nominates or it can be someone that the Administration wishes to recognize.  The student’s picture is taken and placed on the wall in the Counseling Office and the student also receives a certificate to bring home.  Students will be honored each month in the newsletter.

For each grade level, this award recognizes academic achievement cumulative GPA for each year. 8th graders are recognized at the promotion ceremony. Since grades for  6th and 7th graders are not posted until after the last day of school, students will be recognized in the fall of the next school year.
