Each grade level is assigned a gate:
Gate 1- Center Street Pedestrian Gate- 7th Grade Walkers, All Bus riders, All Bikers
Gate 1- Center Street Drive Through Gate- 6th/ 7th Grade Car Drop Offs
Gate 2- Paradise Knoll Pedestrian Gate- 6th Grade Walkers
Gate 3- Sapphire Street Pedestrian Gate- 8th Grade Walkers
Gate 3- Sapphire Street Drive Through Gate- 8th Grade Car Drop Offs
Z-Cares Foundation & Castro Valley Unified School District present a special screening of Angst.
The application period for 6th grade applications for the 2021-2022 has come to an end. All sibling applicants of current 6th or 7th grade Creekside students will be placed at Creekside under Sibling Priority guidelines. All non-sibling applicants who applied by 3:30pm on 3/26/21 will be placed in the lottery to be held on March 30th at 4:00pm. More information will be emailed to eligible applicants by the end of the day on March 29th. We appreciate your patience as we work to prepare for the lottery while also preparing for the return to in person instruction. Thank you.
Castro Valley, CA – (March 30, 2021) – At tonight’s special board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education took action to select Kenneth Kahn Jr. for the position of Principal of Redwood High School. Mr. Kahn is replacing Ms. Erica Ehmann who is resigning from the position on June 30, 2021.

Castro Valley, CA – (March 25, 2021) – At last night's board meeting, the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education took action to select Meighen Eberly for the position of Assistant Principal of Castro Valley Adult and Career Education (CVACE). Ms. Eberly is replacing Ms. Sharon Travers who is retiring from the position on June 30, 2021.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, has announced that over 100 middle and high schools in California are being honored under the 2021 California Distinguished Schools Program.
